ENERGY SAVING

ENERGY SAVING

In this article you will find useful tips to save energy:

  • Replacing a 100-watt incandescent light bulb with an economy bulb of the same brightness, that is 20 watts, will save around €80 over the life of the bulb. Meanwhile, the production of 700 kg of pollutants (CO2) is avoided and the environment is protected at the same time.
  • Clean the lamps regularly.
  • Replace ordinary light bulbs with LED, fluorescent or halogen lamps. Be very careful in disposing of fluorescent lamps because they contain mercury which is harmful to both humans and the environment.
  • Do not leave lights on in a room when you leave it.
  • Prefer a general lighting that is low and take advantage of natural lighting where it is available.
